Vintage Citadel (Games Workshop) miniatures - 1980's and 1990's

Balrog - Encounter at Khazad Dum

I started painting miniatures in the late 80's. Everything was in metal then and Games Workshop wasn't a commercial supergiant yet. The hobby was a bit of a niche and a lot of painters still had to find their way. Here a few models from 'waaay down memory lane' and a few 'vintage' models recently repainted...

Blood Bowl - Undead Team
High Elf Pegasus
Space Marine Terminators
Lava Dragon
Blood Bowl Chaos All Stars - Repainted by Kaasmuis
Nazgul on Winged Beast
Necromunda - House of Escher
Ogre - Conversion
Orc standard bearer on wild boar and Green Dragon

Skaven Shaman - Painted by Kaasmuis
Little (red) Dragon - Repainted green by Kaasmuis
Blood Bowl - Dark Elves

Awesome!!! Love those old skool miniatures and nice paintjobs. Unfortunately I wasn't born back then to see GW's golden age so I missed out lot's of cool stuff. But hey, there's the internet these days ;)

Cheers Rigtje, the models are ancient indeed, but still look quit nice :-)
